a quick summary:

During a GPS training the reviewer could test these devices (Oregon 550t and Dakota 20) during a rainy day.
Garmin provided the pre serie devices (the only ones in Europe at the moment)

Reviewer repeat most of the technical data (as found on the garmin page).

Oregon 550t for geocacher
- Built in camera shoot good pictures (if its not too dark)
- Camera does not replace a "real" camera.
- Display is improved - but has a reflective display
- Display sensitivity is improved
- Display shows crisp colors
- more wayponts, more routes, more tracks, more caches

Dakota for outdoor people
- pocket size
- handling / user guidance as good a the oregon
- display quality similar to the new oregon
- touchscreen smilar to new oregon
- good price
- weight: 155 g
- good battery life 20 hour (just taken from the specs..)
- Dakota available in september (Europe)
