Today I experimented some other serious issues of the new beta.
After about just THREE hours of use with a new set of batteries, I got the warning "battery exausted".... also I was able to complete the day with FIVE AND HALF hours of use with the battery indicator to zero...

I also experimented some MONSTRUOUS drifts of about 3-400 METERS into the wood. A friend of mine with a Garmin 705 had a normal error (about 20 meters) due to the high trees.

I am very disappointed by this beta release, I'll go back to the previous one as soon as possible.

On the second test with the 2.92 beta release on my bike I got a couple of big drifts (more than 100 meters!) and the unit was not able to recovery without power cycling.
I saw this big drifts only with my first unit wich was replaced by Garmin (the current one is my third unit).

Unfortunately it does not seem like Garmin fixed the power on crash after powering off with an active autoroute. I've sent it to the beta email hoping maybe it will be fixed in the next release.

I did a quick battery life (Sony CycleEnergy 2000 mAh) test for my Colorado 300 last night and found it improved from 12:40 to 13:50 with backlit off and track log on. Seem like firmware 2.92 also improves on battery life.

•Improved power on reliability

I do experience the problem of unexpected shutoff in the Trip Computer mode. Hopefully this will fix the problem.

Really hope this fixes that active reroute crash. That's the only thing that's really been 'bugging' me about the Colorado. I have stopped using auto-routing since I discovered that little bug.

Everything else, like waypoint averaging is more icing. It *would* be nice to load multiple tracklogs on the screen, for my Trails project but I can live without it.
